1About Neighbour’s Table

Neighbour's Table (‘NT’, ‘we’, ‘us’) is a platform operated by COCOHUB Inc, and a sister company of IdeaMatch.ai — together solving the first mile of creation and connection. NT connects residents within the same building for shared experiences. Our platform facilitates connections — we are not a restaurant, catering service, or food delivery provider.

2Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • You must be a verified resident of a participating building.
  • You must agree to these terms and our community guidelines.

3How It Works

NT provides the platform for neighbors to organize and join shared meals. Hosts create dinner listings; guests browse and book. The platform facilitates the connection.

NT does not prepare, serve, or deliver food.

4The $1 Mission Contribution

Each booking includes a $1 contribution toward our mission to eradicate loneliness. This is included in the booking and clearly displayed before confirmation.

Funds support:

  • Platform operations
  • Community expansion
  • Trust & safety
  • Community grants

5Cancellation & Refund Policy

Guests

  • Cancel 48+ hours before the dinner = full refund.
  • Cancel within 48 hours = no refund.

Hosts

  • Can cancel at any time; all guests receive an automatic full refund.
  • Frequent host cancellations may result in reduced visibility or account review.

6Food Safety & Liability

NT is a connection platform, not a food service.

  • Hosts prepare meals in their own homes, as they would for any dinner party.
  • Hosts are responsible for food safety and communicating ingredients/allergens.
  • Guests are responsible for communicating dietary restrictions and allergies.
  • NT is not liable for foodborne illness, allergic reactions, or other food-related incidents.

By using the platform, you acknowledge that dining in someone's home carries inherent risks similar to any social dining experience.

7Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect only information necessary to operate the platform.
  • Your exact address is never publicly displayed.
  • Personal data is protected in accordance with applicable privacy laws (CCPA).
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • Building verification data is kept secure and used only for verification purposes.
  • We use cookies and standard analytics tools to understand how our community grows, including approximate location (city/country level) to improve our service.

8Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct

  • Treat all neighbors with respect and kindness.
  • No discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.
  • No harassment, intimidation, or threatening behavior.
  • Maintain cleanliness and respect when visiting someone's home.
  • Honor your bookings — no-shows affect the whole community.

9Reporting & Safety

  • Report any concerns through the platform's reporting feature.
  • We investigate all reports promptly and confidentially.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate community guidelines.
  • In case of emergency, always contact local emergency services first.

10Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violations of community guidelines
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Repeated no-shows or cancellations
  • Behavior that threatens the safety of the community

Users may delete their account at any time.

11Limitation of Liability

NT provides a platform for neighbor connections.

  • We are not responsible for the conduct of any user.
  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of meals offered.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees paid by you in the 12 months prior to any claim.

12Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification.

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
