Why We Exist
Eradicate Loneliness, One Gathering at a Time
Every moment shared is a wall broken down between strangers.
The Loneliness Epidemic
In 2023, the U.S. Surgeon General declared loneliness and isolation a public health crisis. Not a concern. Not a trend. A crisis.
15 cigarettes
Loneliness is as deadly as smoking 15 cigarettes a day.
1 in 2
Half of U.S. adults report measurable levels of loneliness.
29%
Increased risk of heart disease from social isolation.
The irony? We're more connected digitally than ever β and more alone physically than ever. We live inches from dozens of people and never learn their names.
Our Belief
A simpler cure
A shared moment. A table. A neighbor you haven't met yet.
Neighbour's Table makes it effortless to share moments with the people who live closest to you. No apps for strangers. No networking events. Just the most natural social act in human history β gathering together.

FROM OUR FOUNDER
I grew up in a tiny village in northern China with very humble beginnings. Even when we didn't have much, we always shared our dinner table with people less fortunate than us. Community, sharing, helping each other β it's deeply in my veins.
When I moved to North America, I realized this culture isn't shared widely β yet so many people are suffering from loneliness. How many of us eat dinner alone, in our little bubble, never meeting the neighbor two meters away?
It's time to break from our shells and build real human connection, one gathering at a time.
